Egg-born
I fill my shell.
I conform to it's
Secure curve and thrive.
Until
I test shell-boundaries:
And in a struggle of
Confusion and fear,
I am
Life-born.
And I realise that
I broke what I was.
And that
The end of what I was
Is
Just
The beginning
Of
Who I
Am destined
To become.
