To the very barest bones

Life is about flow

When storm clouds gather

I choose to exalt

In the majesty

And untold power

When a kind Sun shines

I bask in delight

In sweet providence

And true plenitude

When I embrace life

With gratitude in my heart

I know I am Loved

Sometimes
Anger is the only thing
That keeps
The parts of me
From
Falling apart

Anger at myself
For getting stuck in this place
And not moving on

Anger at others
For being part of the problem
And not the solution

Rather
Anger than despair
Rather
Frustration than fear
Rather
Cynicism than loss of hope

But each wave of
Anger
Drowns my Spirit
Dulls my Heart
Distracts my mind

Its easier to imagine
The enemy out there
Than to see her in my own eyes
